Well here I am trying to do hw... its just not happening though....soo i figured what the heck I'll write in that xanga thing that i havent written in for nearly a month an a half!!

So yea heres the deal I'm going to be staying at bethel this semester and then I am moving out to maryland at either the begining out january or the begining of febuary. Then I will be moving back to minnesota in may or august. so basically i have no idea whats going on yet other than ill be gone for a while... an it would be real sweet to have visitors!! Cause I'll be real close to DC and well I wanna go see all that I can, on the account of I love american history and it would be real fun to do that with a friend or two.

K so im going to go study some more ...

Another wonderful summer weekend, an now its monday an i have time to tell anyone who whould like to hear about it cause i have time now, actually i dont have time but im making time cause i want to.

So friday after noon i got off work 15 min early!!  Once I got home i packed, way more than i could have ever needed. After that i went swiming with a few cousins and my sisters for a little while. Then I hoped in to the trusty mini van an I was on my way to iowa.

I got to Story City an tried one of those new key lime pie blizards, cause i love key lime pie and i love blizards, yea they are not a good combination. It was too early for me to go to Jessica's so I stopped and pestered Andrew. I met him an a few of his friends at old chicago, yea they acutally have one out those in ames! Then we headed to his house to play with his new kitten, which was almost as cute as the pictures of baby Grace he had to show off. After that we went to see Lords of Dogtown... I honestly thought it was gonna be pretty dumb, but  i was surprised and impressed but it.

I finally arrived at Jessica's at around 12 an we sat around trying to figure out what to do until 2, when we went to bed. Saturday morning rolled around an we were off, first to the science center in desmoines, which turned out to be real fun. Did you know if iowa hogs out number humas 5.3 to one!! Then we went to this art fair thing, which turned into a shopping trip to a lil store where the cheepest thing in there was the 68 dollar plain white tshirt. Our next stop was the beach, where we met some lovely boys ( k so there's a bit sarcasim there they were real weird!!). After the beach we went back home and the to this rather large mall called Jordan Creek, where we did a bit of shopping and then took in Must Love Dogs, a classic romantic comedy, and they we paid a visit to a local hotel to bourow a coat hanger, an you can use your imagination for what that was for. From there we drove up to Ames for some dinner and a walk around the block, which was a rather intresting time being that there were at least 5 bars on this block. Then we headed home.

Sunday morning I went to probably the coolest sunday school class i have ever been to!! And then church and a lovely family lunch with a bunch of  Jessica's cousins. We headed to target for snacks for the road and then I was off to the lovely state of minnesota! Once I got home I went to bed, even though it was only 9, an i managed to sleep till 8:40 it was a very sweet weekend!!

Holy Cow!! What a FUN Weekend!! an the best part it's hardly half over!! I'll tall ya more about it later!?!?

Okay so 4th of July weekend is over ! But I did so much fun stuff I can't even believe it. See my family had big plans but then one of my cousin's apendics ruptured so he had to have emergency surgery on wednesday so everthing was off. So i figured the weekend was shot. It turns out I think I had more fun then I would have had everthing worked out the way I wanted it to. So here's a detailed list of what I did.

*Went to the twins game with my dad, sister and cousin meg, so that we could get her brother, the one who was in the hospital, a Joe Nathan bobble head! It was real fun we acutally got to the dome 2 hrs before game time so we got some sweet pics and autographs too.

*Went to the farm to pick berries, we also ran into some other relitives there. Then when we got home me and my mom made enough fresh strawberry jam to last a year or so and then  for dessert we had fresh strawberry short cake mmmm.

*Then there was the long standing tradition of burning anything and everything in sight with a magnifine glass. An then blowing up every fire work that we could get our hands on in order to drive the neighbors dog up a tree! haha

*One night we had a bon fire in the lil fire pit deal, which was real fun cause my parents didn't get it till last fall so I had never used it before. Anyway we roasted hot dogs and made 'smores. I was just like we were up at the cabin, oh so much fun!

*I also got to play with my dog for a while, which I know it sounds kind dull, but she's getting old an I'm pretty sure she's gonna die soon, an I love her a real lot, an I sure did miss her when i was off at school. So that was really fun.

*Parties... need I say more. K so maybe I should mention that they were birthday parties for children turning 3 and 4 but they were still a crazy good time cause all of my cousins were there. An when it comes to cousins, there's the lil ones that are just as cute as can be and then there is the ones that are my age that are real fun to hang out with.

* And some how everytime I go swimming in our pool with my cousins we end up having chicken fights... and to brag or anything but im deff. one of the best chicken fighters there is. An on one got hurt this time!!

*An on that note are the lovely wresteling matches with my sister, and finally my mom has given up on trying to put an end to these events, for one of two reasons, either its cause she always ends up being the one to get hurt, or because now that me and my sister is bigger than me mom no longer feels the need to protect the lil weed. I still get quite a bit of joy out of hearing..." FINE YOU WIN"

*I almost forgot I also helped work on the car, an we got it all fixed an it runs like a cheetah its amazing! Thats beside the point, I now have a car that is mine to drive. Oh and I had a real fun time working with my dad on that, I'm pretty sure he spent more time explaing how everything worked then he actually did working on stuff, oh well though it was fun.

*In addition to all that stuff we played a few games of back yard  volleyball, wiffle ball, kick ball and soccer. It was a wonderful weekend!!

Oh and the coolest thing is everything that was planned for last weekend, we are still get to do next weekend.
